Earlier this week, we received a call from @kili_handicare2024 to carry out a unique rescue on Kilimanjaro. Thanks to the incredible efforts of a French medical team, equipped with a hypobaric chamber, we were able to safely evacuate an Italian hiker suffering from severe altitude sickness at first light. We’re happy to report that she is now doing well and recovering. This event underscores the unpredictable nature of the mountain and the vital importance of proper preparation, training, and equipment. Kudos to the entire team.
