Tropic Helicopters is a licensed Tanzanian Air Operator, officially authorized by TANAPA to carry out aerial evacuations on Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru, and across all Tanzanian National Parks. Our operations base is located at Usa River, within close range of the mountain. In the event of an emergency, climbers can be evacuated from any of the designated helicopter landing zones on Kilimanjaro. All flights are subject to weather conditions and aircraft weight limitations.
