Anti-Poaching
In the event of a poaching incident or security breach, Tropic Helicopters stands ready to rapidly deploy the anti-poaching rapid response team. Additionally, we facilitate regular training exercises to ensure the ranger team maintains proficiency in helicopter deployment procedures.
Darting & Collaring
We actively support elephant conservation initiatives by deploying our helicopters to assist with the vital task of attaching satellite tracking devices. This collaboration with conservation organizations and government agencies allows for the remote monitoring of elephant movements, a crucial element in ensuring their survival. The process utilizes our helicopters for precise tracking, followed by the safe and efficient application of the tracking device via a darting procedure that minimizes animal stress.
Translocation
Tropic Helicopters leverages its expertise in wildlife behavior and helicopter operations to safely relocate animals to new habitats. Our capabilities extend to transporting orphaned or injured infant elephants and rhinos, mobilizing the appropriate equipment and personnel to address each unique situation.
